was energy conserved?
Energy was not conserved during the ball toss in the video. In the graph you can see that the line rises to a point then decreases and makes an upside down parabola and then reaches a point again and drops almost in a straight line. The first risen point of the graph is produced by the guy just have thrown the ball in the air as I said in my other response to the first question. The upside down parabola shows that the kinetic energy in the ball decreased as the ball as the ball traveled up to its highest point and then increased as the ball traveled back down to the ground. The point at the top of the graph to the highlighted point is from in the when the ball hit the ground and bounced back up.
