Newton's Second Law of Motion:
Acceleration is produced when a force acts on a mass. The greater the mass (of the object being accelerated) the greater the amount of force needed (to accelerate the object).

Equation for Newton's Second Law of Motion:
F = 0.5847(2.67)
= 1.561149N
How Newton's Second Law was applied to my cart's motion:
Newton's Second Law was applied to my cart's motion because this analysis did just like the law states. Since Mr. Lamee added the weight to the small cart it made the cart heavier to push. Like the law states the greater the mass of the cart the harder Mr. Lamee had to push in order for the cart to start to roll down the ramp.
